Jay Chatzkel is principal of Progressive Practices, where he assists organizations in transforming themselves into becoming knowledge-based enterprises. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal for Knowledge Management, the Journal of Intellectual Capital and the International Journal of Knowledge-Based Development and has written extensively in the field.
He is the author of three books: Beyond the Deal: Mergers & Acquisitions that Achieve Breakthrough Performance Gains (McGraw-Hill, 2008),Knowledge Capital: How Knowledge-Based Enterprises Really Get Built(Oxford University Press, 2003) and Intellectual Capital(John Wiley & Sons, 2002).
Chatzkel serves on the boards of editors of several publications: North American Editor, Journal of Knowledge Management and Editor for Conferences and Events, Journal of Knowledge Management, Editor. He has written numerous articles and conference reviews.
He is a full member of the New Club of Paris. The Club’s main objective is to create awareness on what the knowledge society is and will be, and also support nations, regions, cities, communities organizations and companies in their transformation into the Knowledge Economy.
